1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to this website and to the transactions related to our products and services. You may be bound by additional contracts related to your relationship with us or any products or services that you receive from us. If any provisions of the additional contracts conflict with any provisions of these Terms, the provisions of these additional contracts will control and prevail.

2. Scope of Work

Atlas Electric & Automation provides electrical services for residential and commercial customers as outlined in estimates, proposals, or work orders.

3. Estimates

Most estimates are free. Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. If additional electrical issues are discovered during the course of work, Atlas Electric & Automation will notify the customer and provide updated pricing before proceeding with additional work.

4. Service Call Fees

Service visits typically range from $80–$250 depending on the scope of work. This fee covers the technician’s time for inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation of electrical systems. If repair work is approved, the service fee may be applied toward the repair.

5. Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled in advance. Same-day service may be available depending on availability.

6. Cancellation Policy

Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. If a technician arrives and the appointment is canceled on site, the service call fee may still apply.

7. Payment Terms – Service Work

For small repairs or service work, payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Atlas Electric & Automation accepts payments via cash, Zelle, direct deposit, or check. Work will begin once check payments have cleared.

8. Deposits and Payment Schedule – Installation Projects

For larger electrical installation projects, Atlas Electric & Automation requires a progress payment schedule.

50% deposit is required to schedule the project and cover initial labor and material costs.

40% payment is due once materials are delivered to the job site and work is underway.

The remaining 10% is due after the project is completed and final inspection has passed, if applicable.

Materials purchased for a project are non-refundable once ordered.

9. Right to Suspend Work

Atlas Electric & Automation reserves the right to suspend or delay work if scheduled payments are not received according to the agreed payment schedule. Work will resume once payment has been received. Atlas Electric & Automation shall not be responsible for delays to the project timeline caused by late or non-payment.

10. Late Payments

Any unpaid balance may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum amount allowed by law. The customer agrees to be responsible for reasonable collection costs, legal fees, and court costs incurred in recovering unpaid balances.

11. Change Orders

Any work outside of the original estimate or scope must be approved by the customer before additional work is performed.

12. Customer Supplied Materials

Atlas Electric & Automation does not provide any warranty on materials, fixtures, devices, or equipment supplied by the customer. Atlas Electric & Automation is not responsible for the performance, compatibility, defects, or failure of customer-supplied materials. Any labor performed to install customer-supplied materials is not covered under Atlas Electric & Automation’s workmanship warranty if failure is caused by the supplied product. If customer-supplied materials fail, additional service charges may apply to diagnose, remove, or replace the equipment.

13. Existing Electrical Conditions and Code Compliance

Atlas Electric & Automation performs work according to applicable electrical codes for the scope of work agreed upon. Existing electrical systems or installations not included in the contracted scope of work may not meet current electrical codes. Atlas Electric & Automation is not responsible for bringing existing electrical systems up to current code unless it is specifically included in the estimate. Atlas Electric & Automation is also not responsible for pre-existing electrical issues, concealed wiring defects, or non-code compliant installations discovered during service. If an inspection identifies issues related to existing wiring or equipment outside the scope of work, additional charges may apply to correct those conditions.

14. Permits and Inspections

Permits and inspections will be obtained when required by local jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed in writing.

15. Warranty

Atlas Electric & Automation provides a one-year workmanship warranty on completed installations. Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment and materials.

16. SMS Terms and Conditions

By submitting your info in any forms on our website, you’re giving permission to communicate with you via call, text, or email, at times using automated technology. Users will receive messages as needed regarding their quote request and appointment reminders, typically no more than once a week. Message and data rates may apply. No purchase is required. To stop receiving messages, text STOP. For assistance, text HELP.

This company will not share or sell the customer’s consent for SMS messages and phone numbers collected for SMS messages to any third parties under any circumstances.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling service, approving an estimate, registering with, accessing, or otherwise using this website, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The mere use of this website implies knowledge and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. In some cases, we may also ask you to explicitly agree.

18. Intellectual Property

We or our licensors own and control all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the website and the data, information, and other resources displayed by or accessible within the website.
